Are You Thirsty?

Many of us first ventured into Holy Barre in pursuit of fitness and friendship. We look to the ‘wells’ of this wellness world in hopes of finding happiness and healing. We come to ‘wells’ to be healthy, whole and holy.

These are ALL good ‘wells’ that can be beneficial to our heart, soul, strength and mind.

Yet there are deeper wells of true healing of the heart and never-ending refreshment of the soul.  Diving into the deep end can be scary, uncomfortable, and thrilling at best . . . are you ready?

Are you sick?

Are you tired? 

Are you sick & tired?

Are you hurting & confused?

Are you thirsty?

Jesus responded to these questions by simply stating, ‘Come to Me.’

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 NIV

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

“Then on the most important day of the feast, the last day, Jesus stood and shouted out to the crowds—“All you thirsty ones, come to me! Come to me and drink!”

Come to Him. Come to the Deeper Wells of His love, His truth, His grace. Come experience His kindness, compassion, and everlasting refreshment.

What does that look like? It looks like jumping into the deep end and not being able to see the bottom. It looks like moving forward without seeing the full pathway. It looks like vulnerability, faith, humility and a thirst for more. It’s realizing we have more questions than answers and are tired of the laws and lies. It’s the freedom He gave His life for. So we come to Him.
