Hallelujah Even Here

Right now I feel a little overwhelmed
Right now I could really use some help
Right now I don’t feel like it is well with my soul
I’ve tried to find a way around the mess
I’ve prayed in faith that the night would end
Right here when I just can’t understand
I’ll lift my hands

Hallelujah, when the storm is relentless
Hallelujah, when the battle is endless
In the middle of the in between
In the middle of the questioning
Over every worry, every fear
Hallelujah, even here
Hallelujah, even here

Somehow I bow and my heart gets free
Too far, too hard becomes so easy
I find peace here in surrendering
In letting go

Hallelujah, when the storm is relentless
Hallelujah, when the battle is endless
In the middle of the in between
In the middle of the questioning
Over every worry, every fear
Hallelujah, even here
Hallelujah, even here, yeah, yeah

Sometimes nothing left to give
Ooh, becomes the sweetest offering
And sometimes choosing just to sing
Is the thing that changes everything

Lyrics to Hallelujah Even Now by Lydia Laird

This week, our local group has been going through the Bible Plan that shares the same name as the song quoted above, both written by Lydia Laird. This plan was picked by Candace in response to the struggles many of us are facing.

We gather each week to worship, move, breathe and experience the love of Jesus. This experience truly stirs our hearts and minds for more of Him, rather than pursuing the things of this world. In addition, we experience the value of authentic community.

We worship it out. We seek. We surrender. We savor our King and His Kingdom. Even now.

To learn the truth you must long to be teachable, or you can despise correction and remain ignorant.

If your heart is right, favor flows from the Lord, but a devious heart invites his condemnation.

You can’t expect success by doing what’s wrong. But the lives of his lovers are deeply rooted and firmly planted.

Proverbs 12:1-3 TPT

Regardless of the storm, we continue to be deeply rooted and firmly planted. So we worship it out, burning brighter together.
